  • Gorenang Moortabiin Aboriginal Engagement & Community Development (Aboriginal Corporation) is an Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisation that covers the Great Southern Region of WA and was founded in 2020 by Ms. Paula Foenander in collaboration with
  • Elder Mr Ezzard Flowers.
  • Gorenang is a composite of the Goreng and Minang Noongar language groups and Moortabiin means ‘bringing families and communities together’.

Respect the land which we live on and acknowledge traditional owners. I—Inclusiveness, Creating safe environments by valuing diversity and collaborating robust practices of cultural awareness. Acceptance of all social groups and embracing customs, beliefs and traditions. T—Trust, The knowledge of our elders and that cultural practices will identify, shape and construct a successful path in communities.

Gorenang Moortabiin Volunteer Program
At Gorenang Moortabiin we are very fortunate to have some absolutely wonderful volunteers work with us. Our volunteers enable us to deliver a vast range of services and programs for community. All volunteers are covered by our insurances and undergo a small induction program at the start of their volunteering. We would love you to join our team of volunteers.
