Young Mens Program
At Gorenang Moortabiin Aboriginal Corporation, we are pleased to share the success of our initiatives that truly embody our commitment to community empowerment and cultural engagement. One such initiative, the Deadly Living Program, stands out as a beacon of opportunity and growth for young Noongar men in our community.
Developed by the young men themselves, the Deadly Living Program is a testament to their vision and determination to connect with their heritage through active participation on country. This program not only fosters a deep sense of cultural pride but also provides invaluable opportunities for personal development and leadership.
At its core, the program is about more than just activities—it’s about building resilience, fostering community bonds, and equipping young men with skills and confidence that will serve them well into the future. Through activities such as bushwalking, traditional crafts, and cultural teachings, participants forge a stronger connection with their Noongar roots and gain a profound appreciation for the land that sustains us all.
We are proud to support the Deadly Living Program with funds generated through our work at Gorenang Moortabiin. Every contribution and effort from our staff directly translates into meaningful experiences and opportunities for our community’s young people. By investing in initiatives like Deadly Living, we invest in the future of our culture and empower young individuals to reach their full potential.
As we continue to grow and evolve, Gorenang Moortabiin remains steadfast in our commitment to supporting initiatives that strengthen our community fabric and celebrate our rich Aboriginal heritage. Together, we look forward to seeing the positive impact of the Deadly Living Program grow even further, inspiring generations to come
